A Notary Public is sometimes hard to find. Especially one that will come to you. Notaries in several states have formed networks so that you can find qualified mobile notaries. These notaries are edoc capable. They can receive and print your documents through email or internet sources. They have all met a minimum requirement of experience in notarial acts of all kinds in order to belong to thier respective networks. In other words these are truly professional notaries. Unfortunately,the general population of notary's are notary's for the convienience of their employer or do not want to perform notarial acts for the general public.

 

 

 

 

 

You can always go to the Secretary of State website to find their notary data base. The problem with this is that they do not provide phone contact information, only their address.

 I know of few people who appreciate folks knocking on their door or tracking them down at work to have them notarize a document. If they do allow this, they advertise or hang a sign. I do not recommend driving to them unless they have agreed to meet with you.
